The Ekiti State University (EKSU) Centre for Foundation Programmes (CFP) has officially commenced admissions into its Pre-Degree (PRE-D) and JUPEB Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

These programmes are excellent opportunities for students seeking admission into 100 Level or 200 Level undergraduate studies, even without UTME results.

About EKSU Pre-Degree and JUPEB Programmes

The EKSU Pre-Degree and JUPEB programmes are one-year intensive academic programmes designed to prepare students for direct entry into the university.

Pre-Degree Programme: For students seeking admission into 100 Level after completing the one-year foundation course and passing the required exams with valid JAMB registration.
JUPEB Programme: For students seeking direct entry into 200 Level upon successful completion and obtaining the JUPEB certificate.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings in SSCE/GCE O’ Level.

Eligible candidates can apply to any of the following faculties:

Agricultural Sciences: Agricultural Economics, Animal Production, Crop Science, Fisheries & Aquaculture, Forestry, Environmental Management, etc.
Arts: English, French, Linguistics, Philosophy, Yoruba, Theatre and Media Arts, Religious Studies, History and International Studies.
Education: All Education courses.
Law: Admission based on quota and merit.
Management Sciences: Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Insurance, Entrepreneurship, Industrial Relations, Actuarial Science, etc.
Sciences: Biochemistry, Computer Science, Microbiology, Physics, Mathematics, Geology, Zoology, Statistics, Chemistry, etc.
Social Sciences: Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Geography and Planning Science.
Multidisciplinary Studies: Gender Studies, Peace and Conflict Studies.
College of Medicine: Anatomy, Nursing, Physiology, Medicine & Surgery (based on quota and merit).
