The Centre for Foundation Programmes (CFP) at Ekiti State University (EKSU) has opened admissions for its Diploma and Advanced Diploma programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. These programmes provide practical and academic training for school leavers, working professionals and degree holders who wish to upgrade their qualifications.
Overview
Diploma and Advanced Diploma programmes run for two (2) academic sessions. They are designed to:
- Provide school leavers with recognized academic certification to improve employment prospects.
- Allow candidates to upgrade to degree programmes (direct entry via JAMB) after completion.
- Offer career-focused training for professionals and mature candidates who combine work and study.
Entry Requirements
- Diploma: Minimum of four (4) credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB or equivalent in relevant subjects (in not more than two sittings).
- Advanced Diploma: A relevant Diploma, Certificate or Degree from an accredited institution.
- Special consideration may be given to mature candidates with relevant work experience where applicable.
Programme Duration
The Diploma and Advanced Diploma programmes last for two academic sessions, after which successful candidates can seek direct entry into degree programmes (subject to JAMB registration and university requirements).

- Click DIPLOMA to access the application form for Diploma or Advanced Diploma.
- Create an account using your email address and a secure password.
- Complete the online application form, provide accurate details and upload required documents.
- Make payment through the portal as instructed and obtain your receipt/RRR code.
- Submit the application and keep copies of your payment receipt and confirmation.
Documents Required
- SSCE/GCE/NABTEB result showing at least four credit passes (not more than two sittings).
- Birth Certificate or age declaration.
- Local Government/State of Origin Certificate.
- Passport photographs and valid means of identification.
