Step 1: Mandatory Online Fee Payments 💸
You must complete the following online payments via Remita:

Step 2: Collecting and Processing the Clearance Form
- Examinations and Record Office: Proceed to the Examinations and Record Office (near Students’ Affairs) with your Remita receipts to collect the clearance form/slip. If only one slip is provided, make three (3) photocopies and attach them together.
- Head of Department (HOD): Proceed to your HOD’s office for signing.
- Faculty of Sciences Note: Students in departments like Microbiology and Biochemistry must be cleared at their respective laboratories before the HOD can sign.
- Approval Note: Some HODs may require BCOS approval or Senate approval before signing.
- Faculty Officer: Proceed to your Faculty Officer for signing. Remember to take all faculty dues receipts along.
- Faculty Library: Sign at your Faculty Library. Upon completion, you will be directed to the Main School Library for further clearance.
- Directorate of Sport: Proceed to the Sports office, located beside Heritage Bank, to sign. Take your Directorate of Sport payment receipt along.
Step 3: Alumni Association and Financial Clearances
- Alumni Fee Payment: Visit the Alumni Office (near Motion Ground, beside Central Mosque) to collect the Alumni Fee teller (N5,000). Use this opportunity to also get a teller for the Guidance and Counselling (G & C) fee (N500).
- Bank Payment (UBA): Proceed to UBA to pay the Alumni Fee (N5,000) and the G & C fee (N500).
- Law Faculty Note: Students in the Faculty of Law are required to pay their Alumni fee via Remita, not UBA.
- Guidance and Counselling Centre: As you return from the bank, branch off at the Guidance and Counselling Centre to get the space on your clearance form signed.
- Alumni Office (Final Signing): Return to the Alumni Office with your teller. You will be issued an official receipt and the Alumni section of your clearance form will be signed.
- Smart School Payment Confirmation: Go to Room 41, Old Admin (Omolayo Building) to confirm all smart school payments. Ensure you take all smart school receipts (from admission to graduation) with you.
- Faculty Accountant (Bursary): Proceed to your Faculty Accountant with the following documents, arranged accordingly:
- All school fee receipts
- All stamped and signed smart school receipts
- All faculty dues receipts
- Internal Audit: After the Accountant clearance, proceed to the Internal Audit office.
- Location: Back of the Guidance and Counselling office, behind the SIWES office (same lane).
Step 4: Final Administrative Clearances
- Security Unit: Proceed to the Security Unit for signing.
- Examinations and Record Office: Return to the Examinations and Record Office (same location as step 2). This office will likely request for all your SUG due payments.
- Students’ Affairs Office: Proceed to the Students’ Affairs Office (same vicinity as step 14). This office will also request for all your SUG due payments.
