EKSU Disowns "Admission Coordinator" Dr. Williams Felicia, Warns Against Fraud

Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti, has issued a strong public caution against a fraudster allegedly parading herself as an official of the institution to facilitate admissions.

The university's management disowned one Dr. (Mrs.) Williams Felicia, who is reportedly using the false title of "Admission Coordinator" to solicit money from unsuspecting candidates.

Fraud Alert: How the Scam Operates

The university management raised the alarm in a statement issued on Tuesday, detailing the fraud.

  • Fraudster's Name: Dr. (Mrs.) Williams Felicia
  • Fake Title: "Admission Coordinator" for EKSU
  • Method of Fraud: Allegedly receiving payments from prospective students under the guise of guaranteeing them admission.
  • Bank Details Cited: Polaris Bank account number 3125865258.

"The university has no Admission Coordinator and has no relationship whatsoever with the said individual," the statement emphasized.

Official Warning and Legitimate Channels

EKSU stressed that any individual or group claiming to act as an admission facilitator on their behalf is doing so fraudulently.

Candidates and members of the public are strictly advised:

  1. Do not engage in any admission-related transaction with Dr. (Mrs.) Williams Felicia or any person claiming such a title.
  2. Any individual or group acting in this capacity does not represent the university.

EKSU further clarified that all legitimate and official admission enquiries should be directed only to the trusted offices of the Vice-Chancellor or the Registrar.

The public statement was officially signed by Dr. Bode Olofinmuagun, Deputy Registrar and Head of the Directorate of Information and Corporate Affairs.
