The approval was conveyed in a letter dated April 7, 2026, addressed to the Vice-Chancellor of the university and signed by the Director of Accreditation, Abraham Chundusu, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Commission.

This approval followed the NUC accreditation exercise conducted in October/November 2025, where experts assessed the human and material resources available for the programmes to ensure compliance with minimum academic standards.

The following programmes have now been granted full NUC accreditation for a period of five (5) years:

  • Nursing Science
  • Adult Education

These programmes will be due for reaccreditation after five years.
